Favorite Song of the Week: Gotye's "Somebody that I used to Know"

I am completely infatuated with this song by Gotye. The story it tells and the way in which it is delivered is absolute perfection. What makes it incredibly addictive is the fact that the story embedded within this song, of a love torn to utter obliteration, is one that we can all at some point in our lives relate to. The deep heart ache is so beautifully conveyed by Gotye to the point where the person he loves has now become "somebody that [he] used to know," which makes it that much harder for him to swallow. Anyways, I'm sure you've all heard this song, but I urge that the next time you listen to it, you must make sure to soak up every lyric that creates this brilliantly and emotionally written song.
